The research group cooperates closely with the relevant sector. Co-initiators and sponsors of the research group are Reclassering Nederland, the Salvation Army and the Addiction Rehabilitation Foundation/GGZ (Mental Health Care). Other important partners include youth penitentiaries, Bureau Jeugdzorg and the Department of Justice. The research group consists of five members from the sector and members from other universities of applied sciences. The research group associates itself with similar research groups at Avans University of Applied Sciences and the Leiden University of Applied Sciences, with the professor of Rehabilitation at the Vrije Universiteit, the NJI (Dutch Youth Institute) and the Verwey-Jonker Institute in the field of knowledge development. Internationally, the research group collaborates with the European Organisation for Probation (CEP), Montfort University in Leicester, the University of Edinburgh and the University of Glasgow. A close network has been established with these universities.
